USDA Certified Organic Products: This means 2 things to Mendo Maté, LLC. One is our commitment to the environment and the second to our kids. When you see the USDA seal, it means the product is 95% or more certified organic. To us that is not good enough. So we make a pledge of 100% certified organic. If it is not 100% organic then we do not sell it.

Good-Trade: In the eyes of Mendo Maté there is nothing like trading with our principal partners. If we do not know the farmer or the manufacturer then we will not carry the products. Long ago we made a commitment to know our friends in each industry and to create well funded production lines and that is what we continue to do to this day. If we can not verify the wages and working conditions for our products we do not buy them.

None Machine Productions: As the name implies, some of our products are none machine productions. This means that through the production of our product it never touches a petroleum based machine. From the planting of the seed to watering all is done by hand on small estates. Once these products have been harvested by hand they are packed, some are roasted and then placed in the store for our customer. Mean while the only pollution produced through the product is that in the shipping process its self. 

Living Wage: We carry a Living Wage standard into our office and around the world for our employees and contractor. It is very important that humans operate from a stand of strength and value and not fear. We strive to provide this with in Mendo Maté.
